I think I have the perfect birthday. It falls nearly directly in the middle of the year. July 17. With 365 days in a year, directly in half gives January 15th as the dead even date.

I like the idea of operating my life with pivot points on my birthday and at the start of the year.

This allows me to reflect 2x per year and think about direction as I age and as the year turns. With a date of January 15th, I can avoid the noise that everyone else gives the start of the year and reflect on my progress over the past 6 months.
